I run a small business, and do my own book keeping. I tried other accounting software, but always found it very confusing and overly complicated for someone who is not experienced in accounting terminology.
I'm so glad that I found Speed-e-Books! It is presented in such a straight forward way, and is easy to use as it is in a familiar spreadsheet format.
I can drill down to find out all the information I need - debtors, P&L position etc. I can also allocate my own codes to certain fields so that I can use Speed-e-Books to find information specific to my business. This is a very useful feature as I can do lots of analysis on the different elements of my business.
I can also easily fix any information I have inputted incorrectly! (My accountant also finds this very useful!).
For the first time since starting in business, I feel in control of our business accounts. On any day, I can look at Speed-e-Books and I know who owes us money, how much my costs are and whether we are making any money.
Swapping to Speed-e-Books is the best business decision I have made.
