We do not recommend a business enters or tries to keep their records in date order but if you want to you can use the Sort function in Excel (Data, Sort). If you do sort your records you must ensure that you sort the entire record otherwise you will corrupt your data. To protect against this ALWAYS ensure you do regular saves / back-ups of your file.
