With other bookkeeping programs the process to change an entry does not always permit you to alter that transaction directly to make the change.
You have to raise another entry to adjust the original entry by the amount of the change.
It often happens that we may change our minds about a transaction 3 or 4 or more times before we have it in the books correctly
